Development programmes

Development programmes are an important field of activity for AZRRI- Agency for Rural Development d.o.o. Pazin.

In addition to the Strategic Programme for Rural Development of Istria (2007-2013), the project Identification of typical Istrian Products, the programme of hunting tourism and deer breeding, increasing funds are allocated for rural tourism development.

The challenges facing rural tourism, especially in an economic crisis, are great but can nevertheless be conquered. Despite downturns in global tourism trends, rural tourism is currently growing and therefore requiring new initiatives. Harmonisation of Croatian legislation with EU law is therefore of vital importance to create the prerequisites for the competitiveness of Croatian farm tourism on the EU market.
